Welcome to LWV Rockland County, NY

JOINING THE LEAGUE IS A GREAT WAY TO GET INVOLVED IN YOUR COMMUNITY & PLAY AN ACTIVE ROLE IN OUR DEMOCRACY BY:

• Encouraging informed and active participation in government,
• Working to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and
• Influencing public policy through education and advocacy.

Our volunteers work year-round to register new voters, host community forums and debates, and provide voters with election information they need.  We engage at the local and state levels on legislative priorities and efforts to improve our elections and protect our democracy.
